Nukeproof Generator 135mm/QR rear hubs are essential components for any high-grade wheelset, providing smooth and long-lasting bearing performance and a light weight that belies their ability to take hard knocks.

Designed for bikes with 135mm rear dropout spacing and QR (quick-release) rear axle.

A tough but lightweight 7075-series aluminium main hub body features cold-forged construction for optimum strength and fatigue resistance while extensive CNC machining shaves excess weight without compromising structural integrity.

The hub features a total of five sealed cartridge bearings: two on the drive side to help spread the loads of pedalling forces through the hub, one on the non-drive side and a further two in the freehub body.

A low friction seal between the bearings and freehub body eliminates contamination of the bearings from ingress of water and dust.

Six pawls with leaf springs are located in the main hub body for ease of maintenance and engage into a 30-tooth steel ratchet in the alloy freehub body for additional strength and increased leverage ratio, which provides positive engagement and super fast pick up for increased acceleration.

The alloy cassette carrier has been cold forged with extensive CNC machining to exacting tolerances and features a hard anodized finish for durability and strength.

Featuring new graphics for 2013 and available in black, silver or Nukeproof yellow.
