X-Fusion Trace RL2 (29er)

The Trace series is the big-wheeled platform in our brand new 34mm chassis line. Developed to accompany the new progression of 29er bikes with longer travel and aggressive angles, the Trace offers a stout chassis with smooth and efficient damping. The RL2 damper will eat away the small bumps while the mid-valve provides unprecedented mid to ending stroke support. With the Trace’s progressive new-school damping and light and stout chassis, riders will no longer have shy away from the most technical bits of trail but will be looking for what they can conquer next.

The RL2 damper has rebound damping adjustment and uses an on-off switch for lockout.

X-Fusion’s new 34mm legged 29er fork is a great, simple but sorted option if you can’t afford Fox’s 34.

The Trace is lighter than the Fox…
…the RL2 damper stays composed through all but the most rapid rough sections.
The progressive spring rate means you can run it soft for small bump compliance and traction, and it doesn’t dive badly when pushing hard through corners or grabbing big handfuls of brake either.
The Trace is a new fork, but all our long term X-Fusions have been totally trustworthy.
